Green Bay - Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Steve DeBerg and Jim Harbaugh were asked to manage football games. Brett Favre was asked to win them....

yea.. we'll see about that. we all know farve, like him or not, won many games against us with his bullet arm.
being asked to play the field position game..? yea we'll see how that turns out.. all i know is against us twice this year, if they expect their defense to win the game & no their O..

    I say good luck

Re: Coaches ask Favre to play safe

It's hard to say where Favre is coming from these days. In practice, he has exhibited almost none of the happy-go-lucky qualities that lightened the camp load. And in his infrequent strolls through the locker room during media periods, he has had a blank expression on his face.

On Tuesday, Favre never laughed once during a 27-minute briefing with reporters. He spoke of his enthusiasm for the task at hand but his body language really didn't back it up.
ah that'll be the senility creeping in, that or he's back to pill-popping again
    ;D
I'm not surprised that he never laughed, suddenly the GB fans and, horror of horrors the media, are questioning his super human ability and no longer placing him upon a high pedestal. Given this apparent loss of fan-worship he's taken to sulking and pouting in public.
Safest way he could play for GB would be to ride the pine, he's gonna cost them far more games than he wins for them this season.
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Wonder when Edwards will snap him, first game or second?

    I hate that guy.

They're asking him to play safe because their insurance will go up if he breaks a hip.
