Nicholas J. Cotsonika, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Lions QB Josh McCown is keeping a good attitude about his battle for the backup quarterback position with QB Dan Orlovsky. Orlovsky came in to relieve starting QB Jon Kitna in the team's preseason game Friday, Aug. 11, meaning he could be ahead of McCown on the depth chart. "I'm really seeing progress, so I'm pleased with that," McCown said. "I'm not really concerned with where I am right now on the depth chart. I'm concerned with being a better quarterback. That's why I came here."
