I wouldn't mind takin him either the 4th or 5th round. He's always worth a shot. And he's not really a slug anymore either....he had a crappy workout at the combine, but he said he regrets the things he did @ Ohio State and leaving early, so maybe he's grown up a bit. Although quitting after the 40 at the combine doesn't help with that argument...but I suppose we'll see.

I am pushing him as this year's fourth round pick…the last two years with our fourth rounder we have been lucky…we got Onterrio Smith (from Oregon) and Mewelde Moore (from Tulane)…both of them started for us last year and played very well…Clarett could be the next in line…with his 40 times in the 4.6 range, he showed enough speed to succeed in the NFL, especially with the size that he brings…he would be the perfect back to sign and then develop for a couple of years before inserting him into the starting lineup.

I think I would use a 4th on him too. I would get rid of bennett for a 3rd and take clarett in the 4th. I think he will be a decent RB in the NFL and suprise a lot of people. He never was fast in college and was still very very good. To many people get stuck on a guys 40 time. That really doesn't mean a whole lot for a RB.

I would be happy to get him for a 4th or 5th.

We don't need him period. He has all of Moss' downside without any of Moss' Hall of Famer talents.

The last thing we need is a ANOTHER rb, who hasn't shown he has the talents to be a feature back in the NFL.

Cmon people, sometimes I'm glad that fans have no say in who we draft.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

    :salute:

He had a good thing going at OSU. True freshman RB that helped his team win the Nat'l Championship; and he lost focus and blew it. Why take a chance on a guy who might do the same in the NFL?

Last week on espn chat Kiper said that Clarrett is a 7th rounder at best after his workout/attitude at the combine, he is a big pouter
