Wow, gotta love the kid's passion.
That said, Ryan is the only choice here.
He had arguably the best rookie season by a QB since Dan Marino...Johnson had a good year, no question, but, not as good as Ryan's.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

    ....on a similar note:

...Chad Pennington, the Dolphins' quarterback, should be the NFL's Most Valuable Player for 2008. ...

This isn't to say Pennington will win MVP honors. He won't. The Colts' Peyton Manning probably will win. He has the name and pedigree. He is the predictable, safe pick, and the football writers who vote are a march of lemmings...

Ryan has leaded a lousy team to the playoffs ,that is a valuable player to me

Slaton is a good player but Houston is far for being a contender with him tough

    Absolutely.
If I had a vote, CJ wouldn't even be in my top 3 choices.

Re: Chris Johnson: It's Bogus That Matt Ryan Beat Me for Rookie of the Year

I just lost a little of my respect for Chris Johnson after reading his comments. He can't be a very bright football player when he says that kind of things. Falcons would never have been a wild card if it wasn't for Matt Ryan, hell I don't even think they would have been a team over .500.
Titans would still have been a team way over .500 without Chris Johnson IMO.

Chris Johnson is in 2nd place for the "most-envious-player-of-2008" Award, A clear number one is Cedric Benson. I don't know if ya'll rember, but his comment on Matt Forte's success in Chicago made me sick.
