    He will probably shine and it will become obvious that it was the defensive scheme that was flawed not the players so much.

    I think he was a second round pick, but regardless he never lived up to his potential. He may flash a bit for the niners, but I doubt it will be for long.

    I've read that Zimmer was supposed to be good with defensive guys who have underperformed or had trouble off the field. I take it he didn't see anything worth keeping on a team that still needs CB help.

    there are other rumors out there that the Vikings might be looking at cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

    Cook had difficulty playing with his back to the ball. I wonder what type of safety he would have made.

    Yes, he was a second round pick, but he was the Vikings first pick in that draft.

    Either in trouble with the law or otherwise always hurt. Shouldn't be missed much if at all.
