Childress would be the first Browns offensive coordinator under Pat Shurmur, who ran the offense himself during his first season as head coach. Shurmur did not indicate during his end-of-season news conference that the new offensive coordinator definitely would call plays, instead saying he would consider delegating those duties if the right candidate was hired.
There you go Caine. Looks like Childress found himself a position that might work out for him.

I don't get the hate. I hated him as a coach but I would like to point out that the guy was responsible for the 2nd best offense in 2009. You don't do that by blind luck. He knows his Xs and Os, it's just his personality that is turd like.

Only good news for the Vikings, this should get Wilf off the hook for his salary next season, which allows him to spend that money somewhere else.

I'm sure the Cleveland version of KAO will be AWESOME and he'll do for Colt McCoy what he did with TJack!

You mean RGIII right? I think Childress will be kept in check and will probably be a good fit here, although since its Cleveland it will be hard to tell.

Just when I almost accept that we might have the worst FO in the league Cleveland does something to remind me that there is at least one that has us beat.
