Childress could join Bucs' staff as offensive coordinator
NFL.com news: Childress could join Bucs' staff as offensive coordinator
ROFL, that will be very offensive to Bucs fans.. so the Glazers are looking to push themselves into a rebuilding cycle then...or did Childress buy into a Starbucks ' we deliver to your door now' franchise as thats all he is good for. Maybe they can Andy Reid down and a few ex-Iggles players, be just like old times
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Childress had a decent record as an offensive coordinator in Philly and is still considered by most as a good X's and O's guy.
I don't personally think he has what it takes at all to be a head coach, but I think he can still be an OK offensive coordinator. It will be tough for him though, because the game has changed so much in just the last five years. He is going to have to adjust and we all know he has a very tough time doing that.

Childress can be a fine OC...so long as the HC plans to develop all the schemes and call all the plays. That's how it was at Wisconsin, that's how it was at Philly.

I have heard that there was a snag in the negotiations. Childress has refused to take the job unless they make the title "Kick Ass Offensive Coordinator."
