The Chiefs want to trade QB Tyler Thigpen

I think he is definitely an upgrade over Booty.
And has the game experience that Booty lacks.
He could be a very good developmental QB.
I would like it if we could get TJ out and move Booty to practice squad.

Not sure Thigpen is ready to really be a backup. The cat's good don't get me wrong, but he needs to sit and develop a little more. He couldn't work out of anything that didn't require an ace backfield and atleast three wides (i guess it would be four with Tony G), which was the style of offense he played in college. He definatly shows a lot of promise, but I think he's a few years away from quality starting material. Honestly the chiefs would be foolish to trade the kid, as Cassel is more than likely going to prove that he's nothing more than a one year wonder.
