Chester Taylor cut/uncut by Bears

Evidently, Chester sought out Lovie Smith this morning upset about not seeing any action in the last game. Lovie told him he no longer fits into the Bears plans. Chester packed up and left. Later Chesters agent was contacted by the Bears FO and told he was expected at practice. Bears now claim Chester has not been cut by the team.

Probably because some front office puke got pissed off at the notion he was told he was cut, instead thinking they maybe could have received a late round pick via trade. Now they've shown their hand. Might as well let ol' Chesty walk.

Well there would be no way they would get any sort of trade for Chester. Whether this report had surfaced or not.

It has been obvious they are going to cut him. No reason to have him as their No. 3 at his money.

Agree.

I think some of the initial problem was related to people looking at Toby as a replacement for 3rd down situations when in fact, thats not his role.

I for one, think we have one of the best 3rd down backs on our roster right now and the right QB that knows how to use him as such, in young Mr. Booker and Mr. Dnabb.

Hmmm, might have been a few, but I think most felt that the guys that were brought in couldn't catch the ball.

For me, what I missed the most was the unpredictability we had with him back there. Were we gonna run or were we gonna pass.
