Chargers, Saints to meet in London on Oct. 26?
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3217426
It looks like the San Diego Chargers and the New Orleans Saints will be the next group of NFL teams to take their show overseas.
According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the Chargers will play the Saints in London on Oct. 26. The game will most likely take place at Wembley Stadium, which is where the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins last October.Kentucky Vikes Fan

The same is being said on the NFLUK site though they have the same link. Until the NFL confirms then I'll be a doubting thomas...
mind in the thread discussing it there was a comment that made me smile
A very good match-up if this turns out to be true. Mind you a high powered offence is wasted on me being a Miami fanTime spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

I don't like this stuff. I think that our teams should stay in the US! I feel bad for the teams that lose that home game, rather I feel bad for the fans of those teams. Sure they get to watch them on TV, but they don't even have an opportunity to see them if they play across the pond (unless they are rich and can afford to travel there that is).
I hope the vikes never play over seas.
I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Have they said which team would lose a home game?

I support the idea of playing overseas, but I like the idea of a 17 week schedule where every team still gets 8 home games instead.
Plus, that would fill the voids in Las Vegas and LA.Zeus wrote:
