    Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports former Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell could emerge as the front-runner for the same position with the San Diego Chargers if Wade Phillips gets a job elsewhere.

    I wish him luck. It would have been nice to see him stay with the Vikes but I know that Childress wanted his own people in place.
