CINCINNATI  In the football gospel according to Chad Johnson, selfish is good  even if it rubs teammates the wrong way....

Re: Chad Johnson speaks out ... 'Selfish is good'
The Bengals have more problems just than 85, like a porous defense, a banged up OL, and lack of a healthy RB. I didn't find his HOF jacket offensive and liked the fact he no longer celebrates until they get back to .500.
I find him less distractive than the other prima donna WR and he always plays hard and wants to win. If they make him available we better call and offer a 2nd rd pick in a heartbeat."Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn t work hard."

I think the key here is the disregard for team.
When I played the team made certain rules that set the limits to everyone buying into the team mentality.
Sorry, I don't mind selfishness when the team agrees with it (perhaps the HOF jacket) but totally disagree when the team is opposed.

Yep....That's probably where he will end up COJOMAY....I'm not sure if he would be a good fit here or not, but that aside, do you honestly see us getting him?? We somehow always manage to get the raw deals and even the great tallent players hang with us for awhile and then leave...most of the time when they have a lot left to give us.
Meanwhile teams like New England seem to be able to keep players and aquire more tallent every year.....regardless of Cap restrictions which they somehow seem to be able to beat.??? You can bet if they can find a way....they sign C.Johnson and add yet another tallent to the team.
Cheers!

Trade for Chad.
Sign Fitz.
Trade for D. Anderson.
Draft the best Oline guy.
WAAAAAAAALAAHHH- Vikes offense is back!
(note: not to be taken seriously)
Wouldn't that be sexy though?Because I'm a Vikings fan, they are that much sexier.

Re: Chad Johnson speaks out ... 'Selfish is good'
i think part of what cj calls selfishness is competitiveness. that said he is annoying. not quite as bad as moss in his heyday tho. i think he would be worth having assuming that the coach can manage his locker room. (god knows about bc managing a game...
) and I'm all for bringing Sexy Back. but if we trade for 85 and DA how are we gonna pick the best oline guy? that will likely cost us our top three picks. im not taking this seriously, and i do think it would be awesome if it could happen.

VikesFan787, Thanks for the awesome sig!
