    No Denny in Dennyland?
I sure hope he doesn't go back to commentating.
I'm hoping he opens up a restaurant chain and disappears forever.
    Denny's is already taken.

If his food is anything like his coaching, he could have a long corridor in the front of his restaurant & call it "The Green Mile"

Denny. Got fired because he does not run a tight ship. I like Denny but he is too much of a players coach.
So, you think that's the reason he got fired?

His team winning only 16 out of 48 games has nothing to do with it?
YUP....Thanks for making my point. His record is a direct reflection of not running a tight ship.

He was handed the Vikings and he slowly let that slip away.
He did setup Arizona for the future though.

He's very talented in that department, but he also knows how to maintain a mediocre defense after Dungy left.

So what is wrong with Denny as an Offensive Coordinator then?

His ego.......Childress's ego...heck we may as well get Moss and T O in the mix and have a 4 way ego death match while we're at it.

Denny will sit until he gets to be a HC again

You beat me to the comment...
    his ego.
He'd never settle for an OC position.
He's a proven winner (to the last round of the NFC playoffs anyway...

) if he has a good OC and DC.
Plus, and I don't mean to throw out the race card, BUT as a black man with a reasonable track record someone will hire him.
The pressure on the NFL for more black HCs is there.
