Indeed, not a surprise at all.. Now do you suppose he will get a different HC job next season, take a year off as he will be paid anyways, or go to another team as an OC?

I would take Denny as OC of the Vikings right now, no question about it. IT won't happen though, because he doesn't fit Childress' "system"

The sad part is, they were probably worse than 16-32 before he got there.

I wouldn't credit it to his offense though, he brought a ton of talent there, but never had a solid line or defense, but he really put the team in the right direction. If the next head coach drafts well and brings in some linemen the cardinals could turn into a pretty solid contender.

He will take a year or so off...he doesn't need the money so he will just do his fishing show or some commentating...he's getting paid anyway!
