I wonder if NFL contracts are going to start having a no clubbing clause

Re: Cardinals RB Arrington arrested after fight in NC

Was listening to Sirius NFL Radio yesterday.
A caller, and former Marine, made a great analogy.
Apparently, Marines (probably all military, I don't know), are directed to never be alone as civilians...to go out as no less than two.
There is a creed that, "even though you are not on duty, you are a Marine."
He made the point that NFL players should adhere to, and be held to, the same creed.
I think there is a certain applicability to his point...not sure how far it could be taken, however, in my company, the Code of Conduct applies to certain things outside of work too.

I am not a military man, however, have the utmost respect for the dedication and discipline and sacrifice those from the military give so we can be free.
I think the man has a point...I lob it out for y'all to enhance, react, disagree, etc.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent
