    It's a shame they're backing away from Sherman. I never liked him much and always thought he looked like a pompous ass (plus he coached the packers) but I always thought he was a good coach. He got canned WAY to early in Green Bay.

    I'm sure he'll find another job in a year or so if he doesn't get this one. He certainly deserves it.

    Well the Cardinals didn't go the cheap route but I thought the Steelers would promote him.

    Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Arizona Cardinals have tabbed Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt as the team's next head coach. Whisenhunt and the Cardinals have agreed on a deal, and Whisenhunt has begun to address his coaching staff, although it is believed he will keep most if not all of the team's defensive staff.

    Looks like the Cardinals are going to spend yet another season being the trendy pick to go to the playoffs without actually following through.
