Bush tries to walk off the field before game is over

    http://www.sunherald.com/251/story/227816.html

Dejected after his errant pitch to Devery Henderson on a reverse ended up costing the Saints a likely victory over the NFC South leaders, Bush started making his way to the locker room with six seconds left in the game.

The rest of the Saints offense prepared to take the field, and Sean Payton couldn't find Bush. He walked briskly down the sideline and used some choice words to inform Bush to step back on the field.
No when have I seen that happen before?

Even more to the point... isn't he one of the biggest draft busts of all time?

Not really, he is pretty solid when you add his rushing and receiving yards together......heck I think he is second in the NFC with receptions...

Quick, trade him! They don't need his poisonous presence. No, better yet. Just cut him. That'll show him.

    /sarcasm

Seriously, he does have a lot of catches, but his yards/reception are very low, especially when he was supposed to be the magic man with the ball.

I think the Saints should keep Reggie, but maybe he does need an attitude adjustment. It must be hard for him because he doesn't live up to the hype.

I think the saints should trade him. He's just not a good team player. I've also seen him get beat on plays where he shouldn't have, which means he's taking plays off.

    WHAT A TURD!!

Oh and Drew Brees can't possibly continue to be the leader on that team with Reggie around. Reggie always has to make things about him and I'm sick of it!

They should just put Reggie in the role he is best suited for.
I think he would make a great slot reciever.
That would be a better fit for him than RB.
Four score and seven years ago, Brad Childress has brought upon this team, a west coast offense, conceived in San Francisco, and Dedicated to be a Kick jiggly butt offence. We are now engaged in an NFL season, testing weather that offense can get going or that our defense can long endure.

I like your idea, Purple D. Reggie might be a 3rd down running back, too. The other thing is when they get Deuce McAllister back, they could put him and Bush in a wishbone formation. I don't think Reggie Bush is ever going to be a starting running back in the NFL and be very successful at it over any lengthy stretch.

Is he a bust? No. He has value to the Saints. He isn't who they thought he was, though.
