Yeah, but for how many yards? I think it was about 65, that's not that impressive. To me at least.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

    11 receptions is impressive..

    65 yards is impressive..

And factor in that he is a rookie.. It makes it even more impressive..

I don't like all the hype Bush gets.. But he really is a special kid.. And to lead the league in receptions so far.. AS A ROOKIE RB.. Dang I wish him the best of luck

I feel like all this means is that they have to throw him the ball on hitch patterns and screen plays, because the line (or lead blocker) can't hold thier blocks long enough for him to get around the edge.

Now, I haven't seen the Saints play alot this season... But I think this is similar to the 3-yd. Mewelde dumps that were so prevelant last week against the Lions: When the sweeps don't work, use the qb to draw the rush, have the back run the same route as he would on the sweep, but just get him the ball a little later.

This stat reflects O-line play more than Reggie, IMO.

Rapping as in chanting with rhythm or "raping" as in a favorite Viking pleasure after conqueoring a village...

Reggie Bush On First NFL Touchdown: 'That Was It?'
    October 12, 2006 | Onion Sports

NEW ORLEANS—After Reggie Bush's first touchdown as a professional football player—a 65-yard punt return that ultimately allowed the New Orleans Saints to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-21—the rookie running back said he didn't know what he was expecting, but "this just wasn't it." "I don't know what I thought would happen, you know? Game-winning touchdown in the NFL, my first TD as a pro, I just hoped that… I don't even know anymore," said Bush at a post-game press conference, adding that perhaps "things felt off" because at USC over 20,000 more people cheered when he scored. "Maybe [NFL touchdowns] get better the more you get them. I sure hope so." When asked what he planned to do with the game ball, Bush said he was considering giving it to a young child, but didn't want to ruin football for him at such an early age.
