Leftwich didn't look bad coming off the bench last season. I wouldn't be surprised to see him either win the starting job in camp or start at some point during the season.

This has changed my thought on the up coming draft just a little....I had
a feeling that we just might see the Bucs or Jets, try to
move up in the draft to get Sanchez for themselves...Well this tells me the bucs won't be moving up now....Back to the war room :

Maybe this is a sign of things to come...

If they trade for Culpepper as well, and then build a time machine, to travel to 2001 (for the old QB switch-a-roo), they could make the playoffs.

If only our front office was so innovative.

Kindof a head scratcher for me as well.

Hard to tell at this point, however, he sure isn't a good fit (long slow delivery) for what they are trying to do down there IMHO.

I was hoping for both of them to make a strong push for Sanchez. Having the 9th pick, we'd be in a great place to get ourselfs some quality picks. I guess it's still possible though, wouldn't mind the Jets trading their 1st and 2nd for our 1st. Most likely Oher will still be there and we can get another player who can contribute right away in the 2nd round. Especially if you look at TT's 2nd round drafting results. But I'm getting ahead of things.

I think Byron might perform on a pretty high level aswell. Like said before, he looked pretty good coming off the bench. One thing still bothers me though, that horribly long wind-up. The defenders know where the ball is going 5 seconds before he throws it.

He is a funny guy. Who is their starter and why can't I think of his name?

The coaches don't seem to think so I would imagine. They also are changing to a zone blocking scheme.

    they don't really have one.
Luke McCown has the inside track to start (contract wise), Brian Griese, Josh Johnson (rookie last year) and now Leftwich are their QBs.
