Gradkowski was a sixth-round draft choice in 2006 out of Toledo. He started 11 games as a rookie after Chris Simms was lost to a season-ending spleen injury, throwing for 1,661 yards, nine TDs and nine interceptions.


What are they down to about 10 QB's on their roster now?

Worth bringing in for some competition, maybe a decent back-up?

Not likely. Chilly is sold on Gus.

i think they still have at least 50 qbs on the roster

This was bound to happen. Gruden really has always liked Simms and Gradkowski has too much experience to except being the No. 3. Better for both parties to part ways. May have been a little too late for Grad to pick of somewhere else and make the top 2 though.

Maybe as a training camp arm, nothing more.

He wouldn't replace Jackson, Booty, or Ferotte in the final roster.
