I've always liked Alstott, glad to see the Bucs have him inked again.

Buccaneers.com reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have officially re-signed RB Mike Alstott to an undisclosed contract.

Alstott is over raited....Bucs Fans would like take a grenade to the chest for him...at the games everyone goes crazy when he scratches his butt. He straps on huge pads, runs low and gets like 5 yard redzone TD's......OVER RAITED!

I really don't think he is overrated. Most people realize that he is one of the last of a dying breed, the fullback. He does what he does and does it well. I haven't seen him overly praised in the media.

Hes overaited now....back in the day he was a beast....but ever since his shoulder surjery he hasnt been the same. All the stupid Bucs fans all questioned why Gurden didnt play him more and well its becuz hes over the hill. Hes not the same...he dosnt plow over 5 guys anymore.

Yes, he is over the hill. I was surprised they signed him again, nice to see some of the old-timers, especially in that position, hanging onto life.
