Uh ... he was in the same draft as Adrian Peterson ... so that would be three years. Jamarcus Russell was in that draft ... think we can call him a bust?
I can't honestly call any player on the Raiders a bust. Even Moss disappeared in Oaklandland. He was a terrible 1st overall guy however.
How about Gaines Adams? Same draft, was a bust and then was dead. Adam Carriker? Same draft. Justin Harrell? Same draft. Jarvis Moss? Same draft.

Couple more. Three years was plenty to label Troy Williamson and Mike Williams wasn't it? I think it is plenty to label Quinn.

Of course ... I also would not mind seeing us bring him in

enough to label Williamson, yes. Williams' work ethic and issues played a bigger role in that. Quinn hasn't played much, which is why I think COULD be ok. I wouldn't want to give up much for him though. mid-late rounder at the most.

    LOL.

On a serious note why would that be so bad? It's not like TJack has done squat with a good team. Quinn was unfortunate enough to get thrown in the mix before he was ready with a terrible team. I would trade TJ and a 5th or 6th for Quinn. What do you really lose other than a 2nd day draft pick for what could possibly be a long tenured QB.
TJ was a first day draft pick... :X
And you would be exchanging that first day pick with a higher first day pick in Quinn. Am I missing something?

The difference is Quinn has only been in a handful of games with poor talent around him. You can't just give up on him. Hell, what was Aikman's record when he first started in the league? It is way too early to give up on a guy like Quinn.

Brady Quinn has performed substantially worse than Jackson during their times as starting QBs. Not sure why people think Quinn is better... well, some of you may know what my theory is on that.

Ya but look at the teams they played on? It's hard to be a good anything on the Browns. And does your theory have to do with race?

Yes, it has to do with race.

Quinn hasn't even been able to crack a 55% completion percentage... and they haven't really been challenging his arm if you've seen any Browns games.

The guy isn't better than Jackson, at all. I'd like to see one piece of evidence to say the contrary.

It's pretty debatable if McCoy has as much potential as Quinn did coming into the league. I wouldn't mind getting Colt though, even if he looks retarded.

    I think that's arguable.

I'm not like Tad7, and I am not an avid T-Jack fan, I personally think he's basically a failure so far. but I have seen some wicked talent from T-Jack. i know we all have. He makes waaaaaayyyyy too many stupid mistakes, but i'd like to at least see what he can do with a full game after watching the great one work his magic for a whole year.

I say that once Favre is gone, we give T-Jack the first game of the season, if he starts sucking it up in the first half, cut him and rid our minds of this horrible experiment.

so getting Quinn wouldn't be a solution, it would be just another risky experiment. we dont need that.
