    Browns finally sign Edwards?

"Browns | Edwards Once Again Agrees to Sign His Contract
    Wed, 10 Aug 2005 20:51:03 -0700

Updating previous reports, the Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns rookie WR Braylon Edwards agreed to terms on a five-year contract with the Cleveland Browns, ending his holdout and a bizarre day of negotiations. He will sign his contract Thursday, August 11, and practice with the Browns for the first time, a person within the league told the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity. Earlier today Edwards had left camp in a dispute over his contract, reportedly over marketing terminology in the contract."

It's about time, the only first rounders yet to sign are Ronnie Brown #2, Cedric Benson #4, "Pac-Man Jones #6, and David Pollack #17. If I was a Bengals fan I would be furious right now.

I think it's funny that the Bears don't have Benson signed yet. If he doesn't get a deal done soon, he won't be ready for the season opener. Poor bad news Bears!

Oh hell I was watching some NFL show and they were talking about "Pac-Man" and how he always refers to himself in the third person. They were also talking about him getting into it with vetran players who refuse to call his sorry azz Pac-Man, and call him by his name "Adam"

The guy sounds like a real headcase. I am sure if he ever got over himself enough to actually get on the field he is going to be a big target.

This is how I would imagine an interview with him going.

Reporter: "Mr. Jones, why do you continue to hold out?"

Pac Man: "Fool, first of all you better give Pac Man his respect, and start calling me by my proper name! People just don't understand Pac Man! Pac Man gotta' do what Pac Man gotta do! You haters better just step off of Pac Man!"

    Reporter: "O.K. thanks......."

Happy for Edwards to finally get his deal done being a huge Michigan fan. As far as "Pac-Man" goes I hope they dont give him sh!t.
I voluntarily agree to not indulge in any alcohol, drugs, or engage in any other illegal activity that may in any way jeopardize the years of hard work we as a team have committed to our goal of a championship season in '76.

Edwards caught 1 pass yesterday in practice...from the 5th string QB! Romeo is putting him where he belongs and he has to earn his spot!
