    Crap, this is the one guy I wanted the Vikes to pick up. If anyone one FA LB would have fit in Minnesota it would have been Brooks. Who better to tutor all the others in the cover 2 than the guy who excelled in it for the last 10 years? Imagine how much easier it would have been for the Vikes to pick up the new system with Brooks leading the way?

    brooks is stupid to restructure his contract, well if it means he will make less money. teams and players need to honor their contracts and not keep trying to get more money, i.e. pepper. and give less money like the jets did to pennington
