I knew it was Boss the moment I saw the headline on the sidebar.

I had missed the fact that Boss played for Denver, I was wondering why the broncos woudl release Champ, but there was a tinge of hope deep down inside of me.

It was refreshing to see NFL headline's and no mention of Farve for a change.

I knew it was Boss the moment I saw the headline on the sidebar.

I had missed the fact that Boss played for Denver, I was wondering why the broncos woudl release Champ, but there was a tinge of hope deep down inside of me.

Yeah, Boss signed last year after Detroit released him (I believe that's how it went).

And never forget the general rule about headlines that sound crazy - they probably are.

yup, I know that one.
The only one that actually did get me was "Vikings sign WR Holt"

I knew I would have heard something about Champ maybe being released in the future, but the inner instinct in me kicked in and wanted it to be champ.

The one thing that made me suspicious was that you wrote Bailey in capital letters.
I did something similar last season.
I posted something like "Defensive lineman Allen is out for the season" just a couple of weeks after we signed Jared Allen. People learned that it turned out to be Larry Allen

I remember that some of the people got mad, while others thought it was funny. Mostly the younger members thought it was funny, but the older members guys almost got an heart-attack
