Re: Broncos fire Shanahan
I think he will not be unemployed long.
He may not take on dual roles again, but he should land somewhere as either a head coach or a front office type.

Hey, let's get him in a "duel" deal. Part of the deal is he brings Cutler with him. LOL

Yeah... like having to get their starting RB from his job managing a cell phone kiosk at a Denver mall. They had alot of problems this year.. And Mike wasn't one of them
Tatum Bell was their 9th RB?
Their are LOTS of organisations that would love to have Shanahan..... Lions, Rams, Jets, Vikes
But I'm sure the last place on earth for him is the Raiders.
I think some orgs that weren't planning on firing their coach will if they can get Shanahan
Bengals, Browns, Chiefs, Vikes

That's borderline offensive that you'd put the Vikings in the same category as the Bengals, Browns, and Chiefs. lol"V4L" wrote:

and I really, really, don't think Childress is going anywhere, despite ANYONE that they could bring in.
He's won over the owner for at least one more season.
The players are backing him more now also

Another team no one will have to worry about next year. If you think they don't have an identity now, just want until next year.
We're bringing purple back.

"Thanks for getting us to the playoffs for the first time in almost a decade.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
We've decided to rebuild with a different coach now that we finally have most of the pieces in place."
LMFAO.
He may not be the best, and he may not even be very good...but he isn't gong anywhere this year even if Walsh was resurrected from the grave and showed up on Wilf's front step begging for a job.

I'm not so sure. It wouldn't be fair to Chilly but when one of the winningest coaches ever is available sometimes it's not about fair. Kinda like when Chestor Taylor rushed for 1,200 yards and they drafted AD anyway. I would be very suprised to see Chilly go, but any thing can happen."Vikes_King" wrote:

Re: Broncos fire Shanahan
He was very successful in Denver, but 24 and 24 in his last 3 seasons.
"What have you done for me LATELY?"
still very surprised that he got the axe though.
