Brian Williams
Props to Brian Williams, a sack and a forced fumble......he is a playmaker. Always has been always will be. Let the haters hate, and continue to be proven wrong.
Lance johnstone, you are my hero. I'm sorry Ted was an idiot and made you ineffective in a 3-4. You had a great game!
Mike Bennett........ROFL........oh god, he tore it up guys, big time. That's exactly why I avoided the Memo Bennett argument because both of those guys have the ability to make the hard nosed supporters of the other look like morons.
Brad Johnson, controled the ball we won the game, no ints limited sacks. We got better, and we are moving on up.
Enjoy it, we win a big one next week.

It was a good day to be a Viking fan.I think Winfield speaking up made a difference,he is normaly quiet.
If winning isn,t everything, why keep score?

Re: Brian Williams
Brian Williams is a great blitzer, when he was out or when he was hurting he were lacking his blitzing ability. And hopefully Moore and Bennett could be our 1-2 punch like Duckett and Dunn.

Re: Brian Williams
So Brian Williams can blitz well....he can't cover...we need more depth than Brian Williams (maybe Brian Williams can be made into a backup safety or special teamer...but he is not a nickelback...he just can't stay with his man). I like the kid, and he's shown some flashes, but he's not consistent enough...and I would dread if the problems with Fred Smoot's shoulder pushed Brian Williams into the starting lineup.
And one of Lance Johnstone's sacks came when he was standing up, like he is normally utilized in a 3-4 lineup (I believe at that point we were in a 3-3-5). I think Lance could actually make an impact in a 3-4 type D as a situational pass rushing linebacker (which is the position he played in college and also played in a game two years ago against Denver when he won NFC defensive player of the week). I say it has more to do with that, as whole, we have a a lot of talent in our D...but some of it is 3-4 talent and some of it is 4-3 talent...I personally am a big fan of the 3-4, but we'd need to scrap a number of pieces of talent on our roster to fully adopt it so it's something we just can't do.
