Russell was DECENT, but they should only match the offer as long as they DO NOT overpay for him

    Re: Brian Russell

I liked Russell.. i think he could have been better if he played in the D we have now.. But im happy with Sharper and i wish him the best of luck!! I like how he was an undrafted rookie too proved alot of ppl wrong that he can play solid football

Russel was solid, not spectacular. If Sharper can stay healthy I think he'll be better, that said, I wish Russel the best in Cleveland.

Oh well, you win some and you lose some...I wanted us to keep him, but with what we have gained this off-season, some losses were inevitable...I wish him well, just as long as it isn't against us!

Russell is a starter, I doubt he would have been satisfied being a backup playing for a piss poor scheme. Good move on his part.

I'm sorry to see him go too. But if he's gone now we can try to draft a rookie to plug up some holes. Maybe Carlos Rodgers.

so does that mean that we don't get any like comp pick for the loss of a RFA like the eagles always seem to get?
u wont get a comp pick b/c russell was an undrafted rookie.
i was also woundering if u get cop picks on trades? can someone awnser that?

and i dont think he left yet the vikes have 7 days to match the offer will they do it i dont no.
