Things like this bring life in to perspective and u find out that its not all about football or vikings vs. packers. extremely sad u never wanna see someone die even a young guy like that my prayers r with the 49er's His family and his friends extremely sad loss.

SF was going to have a bad team this year, but when a player dies...It makes everything worse. The vikes were supposed to have a good team then Big-K died and the season went down hill after that. Best of luck SF off the field to the players and fans. Most important to his family and friends!!!

At risk of minimalizing the death, sometimes this kind of thing pulls a team together.

The NFL, as late, seems to have a lot of me-first individuals, folks who need more money to "feed their families" (read: buy my new Hummer).

Sometimes, the clouds have silver linings, and hopefully, some can find some direction from this young man's death.

It's going to be a hard year for the 49ers after this and as Vikes fans we know exactly what they will be going through.
