He really has not whined all that much. He has had a couple of seriously f-ed up injuries, including the crazy infection he got ...
I think he looked really good and seemed to be building a repoire with Frye yesterday ... it is a shame it came to an end like this, but Braylon will be a stud in the future. I stand by the prediction that he was the best PLAYER in this years draft, not just the best receiver. If Frye can play at the NFL level, this offense could be very formidable next season with Edwards, Northcutt, Bryant, Droughns and a returning Winslow.

Winslow will fall off his chair and break something and be lost for the season again! Never draft a TE that high, even if he had stayed healthy he wasn't worth that high of a pick and he was a head-case before they drafted him!

Browns | Edwards wants to move up return date
    Sat, 29 Jul 2006 22:12:53 -0700

Mike McLain, of the Tribune Chronicle, reports with an estimated recovery time of eight to 10 months it was believed Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards (knee) might not be ready to play a game until some point in October. That timetable has obviously changed. Edwards didn't promise that he'd play in the season opener Sept. 10 against New Orleans, but he said he'd definitely be on the field before October. "The process that we've made and where we've come to at this point, if I'm not playing by (October) I would be shocked." Edwards, who never lacks for confidence, predicted big things when he teams with TE Kellen Winslow Jr. in the passing attack. Edwards hasn't progressed enough for him to participate in team drills at full speed. He ran at less than half speed during the early stages of practice, and he watched his teammates when the pace quickened.

I thought he screwed up his knee again and was out for the 2006 season!

Prophet some times it just might be better to start a new thread.
