brady is somewhat overrated. he did win 3 super bowls but, he does not put up the stats like other great qb.
he also does not have the wide outs like Peyton Manning. brady is great game manger.
Michael Vick is the most overrated qb of all time. michael vick is
a great running back. he has 5 great passing game in his life.
    Wow.
You should really check his stats before making that statement bro.

You even made your aurgument worse by saying he does not have great WR's.

When you see his stats you may feel a little silly.

Brady IS a very good QB...one of the best ever...NOT!

Without that defense, he doesn't get even ONE ring!

Goes for every QB that ever lived. Brady gets a Bledsoe cramp once in a while and Denver gets to him every time. He should have been YANKED last year against Denver but the boy if he has good play calling is awesome and I see Mannin imploded twice a year and be a mumma's boy.

The QB job is to not lose the game (Drew Bledsoe missed this point_), THe QBs job is to manage the game, not lose the game and help put his team into position to win and noone does that at playoff time better than Brady. HOWEVER, our offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels SUCKS. Receivers drop alot of balls this year. I watch alot of football and seen them all.

Few ever better than Brady. San Fran had bot offense and defense as did the Cowboys and Steelers. Had San Fran started Montana one more SB and they would have won versus losing with Steve Young who just didn't have the experience yet.

ALL the QB's of the past put Brady as one of the best and he is going to Canton Ohio so who are we to argue. You must know your football very well with so many posts.
If he was average I'd say so. I love football and speak objectively and not as a homer.

Very looking foward to tonight's game. Haven't seen the Vikings at all this year outside of recaps since moving last month with no cable.

They call Brady a system QB at times as I just read here on another post and he IS the system. There is no system with Josh McDaniels the Pop Warner Offensive Guru.

caine, if warren sapp is even being rated right now.......

    my top 5 most over-rated.

1)rex grossman- i have to agree w/ mafia on this one, there's no way this guy is as good as people make him out to be. they rocked it last year w/ that rookie qb last year (gah his name escapes me). great defense, great coaching, but in no way is grossman a great qb.

    2) ROMO- the dallas fans have been
screaming his name, but he's a horrific player. when dallas sent romo in, they practically threw in the towel to their season.

    3) big ben- for the same reasons caine had. make sure to poke fun at all the bandwagon steelers fan that just hopped off.

    4) deanglo hall- what is up with this dude? it sure seems like every kid nowadays wants to be like this punk. getting into fights before games and getting beat deep are routine for hall, but he always gets his pick a game and has "blazing" speed.
    :
i'm not sure where you got your info on dangelo hall. he's literally the fastest guy in the league, and consistently ranked with champ bailey as the best corner in the league. he may be "overrated" according to you, but i'm not sure how "routinely" he's getting beat on deep routes.....

How do ya like them apples?!

You better stay in Training Camp little boy. Pat's lost two games that year to the tuck rule and had they won would have had a bye. Are you for real???????????????

It was the rule and called correctly so what are you talking about?????????

Bet you didn't know Pats had lost to the tuck rule so they had to play without a bye.

how is Brady overrated? is is the fact that he was the youngest QB to win a Super Bowl? is it the fact that he's won 3 championships? is it the fact that he stepped in for an injured Drew Bledsoe, and LED a team to one of the greatest upsets in football history against the Rams? is it the fact he's leading the Patriots to a 5-1 record this year with a receiving corps led by..........um, whats his name.................RECHE CALDWELL??!!

please, i'll argue this point ALL day

and cajun, cmon, cant you ever acknowledge ANY boston-area athlete as being sucessful??

you want overatted, lets talk about manning. the Greatest QB in the league can't bring his team to a Super bowl, let alone win one. If defense is so important is such a big factor in a QB's reputation (still don't understand that argument) why didn't he win last year, yet still considered the best? he's surrounded by pro bowlers, but has NEVER led his team to a championship.

    tom brady overrated, f@ck that

Didn't I just give the ENTIRE New England defense credit for winning those three Super Bowls...that's ELEVEN Bahston-area athletes that I acknowledged as successful!

BUT if you want THREE more, I'll give you Ted Williams, Bill Russell and Larry Bird...now those guys I can respect, even if I never rooted for them.

Oh now don't flame the goofy guy with the uninformed and poorly written post ... you get his jist. And Montana does not win one Super Bowl without that defense or without Jerry Rice and Roger Craig ... or without Bill Walsh. It is always should've, would've, could've ... Tom Brady is more than VERY GOOD my friend ... he is GREAT ... probably one of the 25 best QBs to ever suit up (barring some disatrous injury of some sort). Do I think he is a little overhyped ... yes ... Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Donovan McNabb could all have won those games, but let me pose this ... would Manning have three Super Bowls on that New England team? Quite possibly, BUT ... would Tom Brady have at least one Super Bowl with that Indianapolis team ... VERY possibly (he loves domes). To call a guy with three rings and EXCEPTIONAL numbers a "system QB" is either lunacy, jealousy or a little of both.
