Well, I will admit that I haven't seen Tarvaris yet in 2008.

But we just admitted here that pre-season doesn't mean shit right ?
    :

Last year, I saw T-Jacks panic a lot and throw the ball into double coverage.
Yeah remember when Brad Johnson was getting booed off the field late in the 05 season, because he couldnt move the ball?????? Tjack was a rookie that year and he got the start the last two games because of how poorly brad was playing....
and i also remember that ryan longwell was leading the team in passing touchdowns after like 5 weeks... pure efficincy my ass and to blame letting him go on the the FO is just stupid but w/e

lol, Brad Johnson is not the answer for any team.
The only reason he has a job is because Tony Romo insisted on eating greasy KFC before taking snaps on field goal plays.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

We had no receivers then. We now have Berrian and Rice, and we have better running backs.

I do recall Brad having a winning record with us.

Brad did not blow us up at home vs. Washington, thus denying us a playoff birth.

I am really not saying Tarvaris is not the guy. I really do hope he does it for us. All I am saying is, I really liked what I saw from Brad tonight. I like to see ex-Vikings do well, even if they do have a star on their helmet now ! Just because I write that Brad might be a better fit for us, does not mean I won't cheer for T-Jacks this year.

To be honest, I hope I can get on this site in about two months and eat crow and talk about how wrong I was about Tarvaris. I would prefer that than to say "I told you so..." and we are 4-7.

He isn't a better fit though... didn't you see that stats that "Overlord" posted? The guy used to be a good QB he just isn't anymore. Don't you remember Jackson leading the team from behind to almost win the game in Denver (it would have been a win if Williamson would have caught that perfect pass.)

    No.

I saw Brad throw extremely accurate passes, and check down.

Checking down is a skill the staff is still trying to teach Tarvaris.

Re: Brad Johnson: pure efficiency !!

Seems to me we run two plays on our offense:

    a. the long ball

    b. handing off

What i mean by checking down is just throwing the ball to a RB or TE when everyone else is covered. Does anyone think that this is not an issue on our team ?

You think Brad could not run play-action with AP ??

BTW, you mentioned that this is the 3rd stupidest thread on this site. Do I also get credit for nrs. 1 and 2 ?

No its not an issue. He hit shank and Chester tonight. When he has been gettin rushed he's been steppin up and runnin or hittin the check down. And no brad couldn't do it. He can't roll out. Too easy to game plan against Brad he is slow and old and can't throw the deep ball anymore
