A GM that would have drafted this guy would not be lasting long in the NFL given new policies, certainly, Mr Wilf would not endorse bringing him in.
Bowman's on-field talent is not the question.
Oh, and one game in Canadian Football does not a superstar in the NFL make.
Bigger fields, lesser players cover up alot of weaknesses.
Yes Canidian football is a notch or two belowe NFL football. However, 100 yards in your first game as a rookie is impressive. Heck Some of our Wrs wouldn't do that if sent there. This article is just some much needed plates of crow to the bashers that tried to use my vote for AB against me. They know who they are!

It's not like I have contaccts in the league that can tell me what draft prospects off field behavior is like.

    I hear you.
In fact, I posted (before the character issues came out), that I thought he would be perfect to draft in the second round, and a third round steal.

    Re: Bowman Makes Big Splash

Before that recent arrest, I was all for drafting this guy as a third round steal.
Then, well, we traded both those away, and he raises his hand for a second offense...thats at least one NFL offense built in.
One more and he's got a big suspension.
In terms of talent, I think he's got a rare combo of size and strength for the position even if lacking some straight line speed.

We now have a team almost entirely made up of team (and family) first people.
I don't think we'll see many character risks joining the team.
In fact, I think McKinnie is probably on his last legs with the team...one more Fup and he could be gone.
I'm hoping he's had some realizations, and will come out clean and play better than ever!!

If Bowman keeps up with that start, I don't think there's much question of whether he gets another shot at the NFL.
The question is when and who.
If he's clean and shows a good work ethic to hone his skills, it could be with a team with potential that needs WR help...Jags, Vikes, Pats (depth) Broncos.
IF, he keeps getting in trouble but still produces on field, he might end up in the Black Hole!
Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
