The knock on Drew Bledsoe at the end of his career was that he never loved football enough, that it was too easy to walk away each offseason for fishing in Montana and playing with his kids - as if having an outside life made him a bad person....

Never mind that Bledsoe was the definition of a warrior during his Patriots career, absorbing a (literally) mind-numbing 100 sacks over his final two full seasons as a starter.
