Re: Black KKK???
Way to go, Whitlock...A little late in the game, but glad to see reporters finally calling these players out. When the average fan does it, we are called jealous or whatever. People like the great Jim Brown, Honorable Louis Farrakhan, and other leaders black and white, have been discussing this problem for years, but nothing has been done to clear this matter up. But I am proud of Whitlock very good article.

More likey racist. Being a black man allows Whitlock to enter the fray
without too many rants. The black community needs to pick up the
gauntlet and get rid of the gangsta persona.

Re: Black KKK???
In reguards to the artice, calling thugs and gangstas the KKK is a bit out of control, imo. I must have missed all the lynchings, hangings and cross burnings that took place during the All-Star Weekend. As for Whitlock himself, I'm pretty sure he'll be catching heat from some of the older people in the black community that have had some real run-ins with the KKK.

I also think that he uses the term "KKK" to grab our attention...it worked, didn't it?

Re: Black KKK???
No, PPE, I got the point. The "Black KKK" uses intimidation & violence just like the white version. I just feel that comparing a bad weekend at the All-Star game to many decades of racial oppression a joke. Now granted, I don't follow every arcticle Whitlock writes, I just found it odd that this particular article comes out after the All-Star game. If he really had that much of problem with the "Black KKK", he could have written this article anytime over the last year, but he didn't.
I know scandle sells more papers then a feel good story, but seriously. Whitlock, as a black man, should have chose his words more carefully.
