Re: Bills could pass up No. 8 pick, deal down

A #8 pick is not worth a 1st round & two 2nd round picks IMO

Keep the picks and build depth. That is what will bring us a championship.

no not a intellegent idea we are not going to draft a 2nd round QB who is only mean't to be a backup in the first place

    UffDaVikes.. I like you!

People here are gung-ho about giving up any pic and all pics to get up higher in the draft!!!

I would never do something like that.. There are always hidden gems further int he draft, good coaching and teamwork makes them that way.

No sense in banking an entire franchise on one player....

Besides, our QB needs are satisfied.. Lets sure up the O-Line or D-Line, or LB's!!!
i m better than you, so just give up...

just because they're drafted in the 2nd doesnt mean theyre destined to be a backup. Some examples: Matt Hasslebeck (QB for Suber Bowl runner-up Seatle), 6th round, 1998; Tom Brady (3-time Super Bowl Champion and 2-time Super Bowl MVP), 6th round, 2000; Trent Green (excellent QB for KC), 8th, 1993; Brad Johnson (Super Bowl Champion, won first 7 starts last year), 9th, 1992; lesser-known; David Garrard (good job playing for injured leftwich), 4th, 2002; Kyle Orton (led the Bears for most of the season to the playoffs), 4th, 2005.

Re: Bills could pass up No. 8 pick, deal down

I have read a million threads about draft picks. I think we are perfectly fine with the position we are in. I agree I would feel a little more secure if we got a quarterback, but I think we will be fine. We pick up Sims or another LB, and then we could still get Croyle from Alabama or Jacobs if he is still there. WE ARE FINE WHERE WE ARE AT!

Have to say, I almost pissed myself.
