Must’ve grabbed the wrong bag.

That’s what Bill Maas told Kansas City International Airport police Wednesday after being detained for allegedly having a loaded handgun in his carry-on bag, authorities said.

Maas, a former Chiefs defensive tackle, was making his way through a screening checkpoint in Terminal C when he was detained about 11 a.m., airport spokesman Joe McBride said.

“An alert screener saw a Glock 9mm pistol — loaded — in a bag in the X-ray machine belonging to Bill Maas,” McBride said.

Authorities confiscated the gun and took Maas to the airport police station for questioning.

How do you grab the wrong bag? And I thought I saw somewhere that he scheduled to call the Vikes game Sunday?

He must have learned this from Barry Switzer.

Didn't he just get arrested in July for carrying a weapon, cocaine and marijuana?
You would have thought that he would have learned something from that.
Maybe not.
