A league source tells us that there is already talk in league circles that former Steelers coach Bill Cowher is planning his potential return to the NFL.
Per the source, Cowher already has spoken with multiple teams about filling a potential vacancy in 2008....

Looks like he's had enough of "spending more time with the family"

Guys like him just can't sit the game out.
To competitive.
Let the coaches on the hot seats start squirming.
;D

If I didn't know any better, I would assume that The Chin would want to retire within the Steelers organization.
Oh well, if Chilly flops this season we can always sign chinny chin chin!

I see he also wants full control of the team. Remember when Holmgren wanted that in Seattle and eventually found out it was too much on his plate and didn't have a good coaching year until he relinquished some of his duties.
Chilly, with the Vikings is saying the same type of thing. To many other things can take away from coaching -- like calling the offensive plays.
