Big Shock - Holmgren trying to pass the blame, again.
Seattle's Sando reports that Holmgren puts all of the blame for not franchising Hutch solely on the shoulders of Ruskell and the Team.
So let's see...In his opinion, the Seahawks should have used the franchise tag instead of the transition tag on LG Steve Hutchinson. Holmgren said he thought that's what the team was going to do, and he was already in Indianapolis for the combine when he found out otherwise; he said the reasoning behind the transition tag was "valid" but it "blew up on us" and the team "must be aware and be careful of any agent coming in and saying, 'You can do this, you can get this player if you do this.' "
He blames the refs for Seattle losing the Superbowl
He blames Ruskell for not franchising Hutch
He blames Minnesota for "stealing" Hutch and the League for allowing it
And some people think farve has a God complex. I honestly believe Holmgren thinks he can do no wrong. Hate to break it to you buddy, but your shit stinks too.Zeus wrote:

The Walrus has held an HC job for too many years, that alone is a miracle.

Re: Big Shock - Holmgren trying to pass the blame, again.
Where do you think Favre got it? Holmgren is a whiner plain and simple. When he was here in Wisconsin with the cheese, he complained all the time. The only difference being is that we had to hear about it here in Wisconsin at that time.
He is also a prick.. I used to work in irrigation. When he was the coach here, he lived in a place called DePere Wisconsin. We put a sprinkler system in his yard, and we couldn't even get into the garage to put the timer in until he left the house. When he left, some of the guys I worked with waived at him, and he turned his head the other way. He really is a A-Hole. Thought I would share that with you.

I've always liked Mike. He coached for BYU and he has been at some football camps I have attended.

LOL. Yeah, as much as Holmgren gets on my nerve with his constant whining and blame throwing... he would still be a huge upgrade over the "management" they have in GB now.I bet Green Bay would still take him back.Zeus wrote:

Hell I would have taken him over Tice anyday. If Daunte had a coach like him he may even have been able to improve over time.
