Looking at it from that perspective, the Vikings are doing it right by not going out and overpaying marginal talent in the FA.

Yeah, I was just looking at all the signings and thinking about it.
There is some serious overpaying going on and there are a bunch of guys that aren't worth all that much coin floating around.
It's all about how they fit into the system and the current roster though, one guy may have little street value with the Walrus and a lot with Chilly.
It all depends.

Out of all the offseasons in recent memory, this one is probably the best to not be overly active in FA.

If it's someone you need go get them! Don't cheat yourself but spend wisely. Not spending to brag your NOT spending is just as bad.

See it's easy, when you want a person to know that you are trying to be an ass in your rebuttal you just slip this little number in ..*sarcasm on* or *sarcasm off* just to highlight your point. I just wanted to clarify since people think I am always sarcastic, but thanks for pointing that out.... ;D
