Best Pass Catcher In NFL Today
Ultimate WR: Hands (VIDEO)
Which wide receiver has the best hands in the NFL? Find out what the players think.
I'm not talking just about the hands. A few important things that makes a good pass catcher is body control, eye-to-hand coordination, leaping ability, timing, awareness, and size. He should be consistent and catch every ball that comes his way, but also catch the seemingly uncatchable balls.
This is a hard one to pick. Some stand out in the consistent department (Reggie Wayne, Wes Welker) while others stand out in the spectacular department (Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson), but I think I ultimately have to go with Larry Fitzgerald here. He just have an amazing ability to snatch the ball out of the air. Combine that with great size, sense of timing, body control, and super leaping abilities, and you have the best pass catcher in today's NFL in my opinion.
PS: I wish I could include more options in the poll, but the site wont let you have more than four
There are so many guys that deserve a place in the poll. Brandon Marshall, Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd are just a few.

Re: Best Pass Catcher In NFL Today
I voted for Andre Johnson. I think he has been overshadowed by the teams lack of playoff appearances but he is as good as it gets right now in this league.

Andre is the best in the game and its not even close. He is the #1 WR in the league bar none.
We're bringing purple back.

I think that both Johnson and Fitz are pretty similar. But for pure hands ... I don't think anyone is nearly as good as Fitzgerald.

Larry Fitzgerald in a landslide. Andre Johnson might be the better receiver, but Fitz has the better hands by far. Which makes sense, considering he learned from the best hands in NFL history.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

Wes Welker.
Is the deep ball sexy? Judging by all of the inputs so far, I guess the answer is yes...........
My take, anyone can run down the field in a nice 7, 8 or 9 route, with a CB and maybe a S giving help over the top, and let the football fall into your hands (well except Troy Williamson).
Gimme a guy who can catch it running a 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 route with CB, LB and a S all within eye shot with the ball coming straight at you instead of on a nice arch.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Fitz runs all the routs and catches anything within 10 yards.
