The fullback we didn't want made the list. I wonder why there were less holes in 2008?

I was suprised to see him on that list as well.
Nothing against T-rich but I watched that team alot this year and he didn't get alot of reps.......

My assesment is Fanecca helped out thier offensive progress more than a FB who was on the sidelines....
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

are you serious>??? he opened MAAAD holes for T.jones... he's only blocks for 1,000 yard rushers.. his entire career i don't think any lead back has rushed for less than a G!..

Alan prob had some to do with it but T.Rich was def. the difference...

I agree Kevcox... i wonder why there were less holes last year... and didn't AD look a step or two slow compared to his rookie year??..

It seems like he was caught from behind alot more than his rookie year when noone could catch him... is he loosing speed?
could it have been that knee injury or defenses taking better angles or both??..

things that make yu go hmmmm!???

You know... I watched a lot of Jets game this season, and I'll never be able to figure out why the Jets didn't run the ball more down the stretch.

Thomas Jones was having a great year.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

I think they got some film on him. If you ask me defenses had a tough time guaging his speed. With 12 or 13 games worth of film, I believe his moves, tendencies and speed got examined. He still had a great year, I would have like to see us keep T - Rich and see what that looked like...

    BTW Marr,
the Jets seem to be in a hurry to resign the FB that did nothing for them last year.

Marr is right.. Jones actually did not play alot this year

He was a solid pick up.. I can't name anyone off the top of my head who would replace him

But he really didn't play much or have the production I thought he would

who?? thomas Jones??.. he ran for over 1k.... had one of his better years.. compare that to the year before and i'd say T.Rich had a good and successful year there as well... that's prob why they want him back so bad...
