That really is too bad. Faulk was always a great player and great to watch. It's also too bad that he has kind of faded into retirement. Players of his calibur deserve better.
well its either that or retire right in your prime and piss off a lot of people, (see robert smith, ricky williams)
Also see Barry Sanders (didn't Ricky "retire" because he didn't want to get in trouble for using drugs?)
    WE CAN BUILD ON THIS!!!

How unfortunate, Faulk was one of those players you loved to hate. MAN, did he have great moves. We'll miss ya Marshall

As for Bennett, you gives one crap

Thank you Josdin for the sig

I honestly hope Faulk retires. He is too great to sully his career and keep trying to do it after other greats like Jerry Rice, Brett Favre , etc. have done. I hope Bennett does well though. He was one of the fastest backs I have seen, but it seemed like he fell down when a D lineman farted on him.Anywho...
WELL, I LL ASK HIM, BUT I DON T THINK HE WILL BE VERY KEEN. UH, HE S ALREADY GOT ONE, YOU SEE.

Linehan must have liked the Vikings, as he keeps filling his roster with our old players.

I have a friend who is a Rams fan, now I get a better chance to relate to the players he talks about, so that should be great.

I do hope Mike get a chance to play. He's such a good guy, he just didn't do for us on the field the past years.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

M.b was never used as he shoulda been. due to injuries, scheme's, O-coaching.. many things. but I bet he will explode for a few games. and then settle into his normal habbits. but for those exploding games where he does those 80 yrd sprints.. all the critics will say..

I really do think that we had something good when we drafted the speedy track star. 2 bad it never panned out the way it shoulda. i bet we woulda gotten more ouft of him in the WCO then in tice's randy ratio.

Lets not forget that he did have a 1000 yd season in his 2nd year. But as you say, then the injuries began.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Amen. However, had Tice not talked about the "Randy Ratio", but instead talked about the "Michael Ratio"(doesn't quite have the same ring, does it?),maybe that would have been better for both. Oh, except the injuries every year.

Bennett will never be anything great.

I gave him so many chances and got nothing in return.

Good luck but we all know whats going to happen.

I hope he does well.. I was a fan of Bennett even though he wasn't who people wished he would be.. I'm still a fan and think he is a very nice and good guy.. He is one of the few players who will sign autos for people before the games I hear

And he took alot of heat.. People would rip on him so much and I felt bad for the guy because he always gave it his all and that's all I ask for..

So when someone wishes someone the worst (injury maybe?) that makes me feel bitter.. I can see why people would want him to no do well since he isn't a Vike anymore though

aww im sorry you feel bitter

A: I m 37, number one. I took my family to Perkins a couple of days ago, and they didn t hand me a senior citizens discount card, so I feel pretty good.

Rams | M. Faulk on PUP list
    Wed, 26 Jul 2006 20:51:32 -0700

Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports league sources said the St. Louis Rams have placed RB Marshall Faulk (knee) on the team's Physically Unable to Perform list (PUP). Faulk is scheduled for major knee surgery and will be sidelined for the season. RB Steven Jackson, who succeeded Faulk last year as the team's primary running back, said: "No one wanted to see him go. But health is first, and Marshall has to take care of himself. I hate that he can't be here, but I think we do move on."
