I hope he does well.. I was a fan of Bennett even though he wasn't who people wished he would be.. I'm still a fan and think he is a very nice and good guy.. He is one of the few players who will sign autos for people before the games I hear

And he took alot of heat.. People would rip on him so much and I felt bad for the guy because he always gave it his all and that's all I ask for..

So when someone wishes someone the worst (injury maybe?) that makes me feel bitter.. I can see why people would want him to no do well since he isn't a Vike anymore though

thats unfortunate..i lived in stlouis during the "greatest show on turf" era and i honestly believe that marshall faulk was the best player in the NFL during those years..as for mike bennett, hes always going to be what he is, a 1 yard per carry guy, that can break out an 80 yard run, but only when he gets 20 touches a game

like how emmit signed to the cowboys for a day.. well, bad example.. he was famous in dallas..

it'd be like bettis signing to detoit before he retitred.. did faulk ever play for new orleans?

I meant if he could actually play a whole season in New Orleans, not just a one-day contract!
