Bernie Miklasz, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports the St. Louis Rams should be acquiring New Orleans Saints RB Michael Bennett at some point before the start of training camp to back up RB Steven Jackson.

Bernie Miklasz, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports the St. Louis Rams will be placing RB Marshall Faulk (knee) on the Injured Reserve, likely the end of Faulk's career.

Faulk is going to be in the Hall of fame, i think he have had a great career!!

Best of luck to Bennett, I just wish he could have stayed healthy while with us.

It's sad to see Faulk's career ending. He was fun to watch.

Bennet might have done something if he was healthy. My best wishes go to him.
As for Marshal He'll be heading to the HOF for sure.

I feel bad for Faulk. I really think he was under-utilized in the years following the Rams' championship. I just don't think they gave him the ball when it counted, and it cost the Rams.

Faulk is such a versatile running back. Sad to see injuries end his career a bit premature. The last couple years were tough. He was as fun as BARRY SANDERS was to watch. Boy do I miss Barry too. HOF for sure!!

Too bad Faulk had to retire so soon. All the hits eventually wear you down.

That really is too bad. Faulk was always a great player and great to watch. It's also too bad that he has kind of faded into retirement. Players of his calibur deserve better.
