The Cincinnati Bengals terminated the contract of oft-injured left tackle Levi Jones, the team announced Wednesday.

A former first-round pick in 2002, Jones was one of the top tackles in the NFL until knee and leg injuries hurt his production the past few seasons.

Jones is still regarded as a very good pass-protection tackle.

I know that there are a considerable number of guys on here who will love this and many of you wanted to trade for him.
Now, we have the opprtunity to get him without losing any of our picks or players.

Just imagine! McKinnie on the one side and Levi Jones on the other. Both were drafted in the early first round of the 2002 Draft (Levi was drafted three spots behind McKinnie at No. 10)

I actulally would encourage picking up another solid OL.
I thihk LoadHolt will be great but With Hima and posibly Sullivan on our line that gives us major inexperience at OL in 2 key places.
Not convinced about Taicher but If Favre comes to us Taucher may be coming as well.
Not to turn this into a Favre thread and shouldn't but I think anytime you can add soldi experince to you OL then go for it
