Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals LB David Pollack (neck) will be placed on injured reserve, effectively ending his season, after suffering a broken neck Week 2.

Holy cow I wasn't aware of that. I hope it's not a life or career threatening injury. I wish him and Cincy fans all the best.

Hopefully he can get himself back up to 100 percent and continue his NFL career.. He is a really good man from what i've heard..

As a guy who has broken his neck before, I can tell you it won't be easy for him to return... I broke my neck a few years ago, and it took a while before I could go back to work... I am sure that being in the NFL, will slow that process by a considerable amount... I wish him all the best in his recovery and I also know exactly what he will be going through...
