Re: Bengals Houshmandzada Hit
No Cheapshot, he was trying to deliver a big hit and he was less than a second off. I see no helmet2helmet like the announcer said and the Chargers ended up winning this game. Also, I bet there are a few drops in the coming weeks from recievers playing the bolts. That was niiiice

Re: Bengals Houshmandzada Hit
i have to say, that was definetially a cheap shot.
he was waay early there, but i do not think that there should be a fine.
There was no helmet to helmet contact, it was his shoulder pad that knocked tj's helmet off.
It was definetially pass interferance, and a cheap shot, but i don't think he should be fined for that.

For anyone that plays football or has. You guys would have done the same thing in that situation. When you can really rock someone you take advantage of it. haha

Re: Bengals Houshmandzada Hit
I live here in Cincinnati and loved seeing those kitty kats get hit up.
I loved the hit too.
It meant that if you come my way, you are going to get popped.

Re: Bengals Houshmandzada Hit
This will definately draw a fine. His helmet hit T.J's the NFL will not stand for this type of hit. There will be a fine and there was a penalty rightfully so.
That being said that is what a Saftey is supposed to do. Ronnie Lott put the fear of god in people, often earlier and nastier then this hit.

I was hoping they'd throw that P.O.S. out of the game for that hit.
The reciever was completely vulnerable and the ball was about 5 yards away when the hit was delivered. The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

There definitely was helmet to helmet contact & there will be a fine. You can see it on the video. He may have grazed off the pads first, but there was definite helmet to helmet contact made & that will almost always bring a fine with it.i have to say, that was definetially a cheap shot.

Re: Bengals Houshmandzada Hit
Helmet to helmet means you tried to hit their helmet with yours. I don't see the helmets making contact 1& I see Jammer(think that was him) going in obviously with his shoulder. God that was nice. I'd bet everyone saying that was a cheap shot was loving when Fergusson got clotheslined vs the Jags.-Now that was a cheap shot-pleasurable, but still a cheap shot. This hit was very very close to being a good defensive play-just a matter of less than a second.
