Re: Bears WR's are a better bunch without Berrian

that's what i'd say too if i had to wake up and see what kind of offense my team had.
hmmm Booker is old and hasn't done much since he left the bears.
Hester ain't proved anything as far as being a wr.
Lloyd, a former University of Illinois wideout who has never caught 50 passes in a season.
Davis is far from proven and a rookie selection.
Hmmm, i'm not seeing how losing their best 2 recievers makes them better.
Hope can be an ugly thing sometimes.
Oh, and to complicate things, their QB battle is Grossman and Orton......................................ha..... .....................

You don't lose your best receiver to a division rival, then lose your other starter, and tell us that you're better off without them. That's almost as stupid as saying you're better off with Grossman and Orton.

Yeah ... he is wrong. That is an easy one to dispute. Marty Booker has the most polished career of any of them ... and has consistently been a solid No. 2 or No. 3 guy. Lloyd has always been more hype than substance and he averages a whole 30 yards a game for his career. Davis has 39 whole catches in two years.
I guess if Devin Hester produces about 1,000 yards receiving then their receivers will MAYBE be AS good as with Berrian.
I do really like Greg Olsen for their passing game, but as a whole their receivers are has beens, never weres and great kick returners.

    exactly.

Until some of these young guys prove somethings... theres absolutely NO WAY you can say your receiving corps is better off with out Berrian & Moose

Who is he trying to convince, himself?
    His players?
Because nobody else is buying the idea that the Bears are better at WR, and the public has proven itself to be very gullible often in the past.
