Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports the Chicago Bears are winning by large margins this season and have a differential of 120 points after five games this year. That represents the second largest differential since the 1970 NFL/AFL merger, trailing only the 1999 Super Bowl champion St. Louis Rams (123 points).

Re: Bears winning by large margins
Compared to the 1985 Bears, it's pretty impressive.
Through first 5 games...
Average Scores (per game):
1985
Bears 32.6
Opponents 17.6
2006 Bears 31.2
Opponents 7.2
Margin of Victory (points):
1985 Bears: 15
2006 Bears: 24

The Bears are driving my nuts.
That defense has been outstanding and the offense is racking up the points.
Damn it.

I hate how no paper/article/analyst mentions the Vikes are the only one to stand toe to toe with them, hell we might be the only one's able to beat them on their schedule if New England and the Giants don't...

gol 'darnit it.
But in all seriousness, it's ridiculous how no one mentions their game against us, we outplayed them that game, and just caught some bad breaks.

Re: Bears winning by large margins
I read that 20 of their points against the Bills were defensive, and that's about half of all their points that game.
WE CAN BUILD ON THIS!!!

In AP I trust

He who wins gets to write history. We lost they won. We lost again they won. The Bears destoryed the BILLS. We barley lost, but we lost. So the Bears are the team to beat and that suites me just fine."Prophet" wrote:
